Former Wentworth Institute President to Lead Prescott College
Prescott, AZ: Prescott College has announced that Kristin Woolever, PhD, has accepted the position of Chancellor at Penn State University at Brandywine. Current Chair of the Board of Trustees and former Wentworth Institute of Technology President, John VanDomelen, PhD, will serve as Interim President as a national search for a new president will begin shortly.
Dr. Woolever assumed the Presidency of Prescott College in July of 2010. During her tenure, PC has made major capital improvements including creating a campus commons, building a LEED Platinum certified residence hall, built the endowment and added new undergraduate and graduate programs. The Prescott College 2020 Strategic Plan was developed and implemented as was The Prescott Plan: Value, Honesty, Simplicity which resulted in a lowering of tuition and a restructuring of financial aid.
