SUMMARY Reporting directly to the President of the College, the Vice President is responsible for directing, managing, and conducting all aspects of a comprehensive fund development effort. These include the areas of development/fundraising, foundation and corporate relations, parent and alumni relations and services, government grants and planned giving. The Vice President provides support to the senior officers of the College in addressing the broad spectrum of the College’s external constituencies and participates fully in the life of the campus and larger community. S/he will also provide advice and counsel to the President and other senior officers in all aspects of fundraising. The Vice President supports the President in the role as staff liaison to the Development Committee and the Committee on Trustees of the Board. S/he must be able to work in an increasingly complex regulatory environment, in an institution committed to collegiality and to shared governance structures, and in an atmosphere of rapid change and a high degree of ambiguity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for all aspects of College fundraising.
- Successful track record in strategic planning and design of a new development program to include all aspects of fundraising including the design and implementation of a major comprehensive campaign.
- Significant experience in working directly with a Board of Trustees/Directors, Development Committee, and senior leadership.
- Develops, directs, and implements the strategic development/fundraising plan of the College.
- Supervises Development staff.
- Conducts donor research and stewards current and potential major gifts.
- Coordinates, develops, and approves corporate & foundation grant proposals for the College.
- Directs the planned giving program.
- Supports the President in staff support and professional advice to the Committee on Trustees.
- Supports the President in staff support and professional advice to the Development Committee.
- Seeks new opportunities and avenues for College financial support.
- Directs and coordinates special projects and events associated with donor cultivation and fundraising.
- Responsible for all capital, endowment, and other fundraising campaigns.

- Oversees and coordinates alumni and parent affairs staff and activities.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: At least 8 years of experience in increasingly complex institutional development functions including direct experience in fundraising; donor cultivation and solicitation; supervision of professional employees; major gifts; corporate and foundation giving; federal, and state grants; planned giving; and capital campaigns. A proven track record in the solicitation of major gifts face to face and demonstrable success in annual fundraising performance is required. S/he should have sense of humor, energy, creativity, an ability to work collegially in an academic community, and maintain high performance standards, as well as a strong sense of integrity and a commitment to professional ethics. Previous experience in an academic setting/institutional development office preferred. CFRE or other appropriate fundraising credentials preferred.

Summary:
The Director of Library Services is responsible for manifesting the Prescott College mission of interdisciplinary and experiential learning for social justice and environmental sustainability through library services provided to students and faculty of our high-residency and low-residency B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. programs.
The Director of Library Services directs, plans, organizes and provides oversight for the college library and technological systems, electronic holdings, learning resources comprising the Information Commons. The Director represents library interests on campus and within the Yavapai Library Network and other appropriate consortia. The Director is a “hands-on” servant leader who supervises a collaborative team of staff and faculty library professionals and who works collaboratively with faculty, staff and students across Prescott College.
Responsibilities:
Supervises staff
Recruits, hires, trains, and evaluates performance of staff.
Facilitates effective employee relations (e.g., teamwork, conflict resolution).
Plan and coordinate staff training programs and professional development opportunities for faculty.

Requirements:
Masters Degree in Library Science (or equivalent terminal degree in Library and Information Sciences)
Two years of experience in an academic library is required and should include all facets of librarianship: library planning and management; technical knowledge of library methodologies

Summary:
The Director of Financial Aid has the responsibility for administering all Federal Title IV student assistance programs in compliance with current Federal Regulations and institutional scholarships, grants and discounts according to college policies and donor requirements. This position additionally oversees any State Programs or external programs as well as certifying Veterans Affairs enrollment information. The Director works closely with the Dean of Enrollment Management to package aid to optimize enrollment while controlling the institutional discount according to approved institutional guidelines and budgetary constraints. Additionally, this position is responsible for program reviews and preparation for Title IV audit compliance. This position ensures that students are served well and efficiently in a manner that demonstrates the Prescott College philosophy and mission.

Summary
Provide circulation and reference services to individuals, in-person and on the phone. Typical duties involve checking out materials, responding to questions, and assisting patrons in locating materials. Though schedule will be fairly consistent, it will have seasonal changes according to the college’s calendar. Except for summer, most hours will be Fridays and Saturdays and weekday evenings. Approximately 20 hours/week.

Summary:
Provides support in the maintaining and issuing of outdoor equipment and helps facilitate the rations room program.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and repairs outdoor equipment.

Summary: This introductory course discusses soil formation, fertility, texture, chemical properties and water holding capacity. The course uses lecture/discussion, lab, and field opportunities. In the lab, students learn basic soil analyses (PH, cation exchange, bulk density and organic analyses) and to interpret analyses from state soils labs.

Full Faculty in the Adult Degree and Graduate Programs are full-time faculty hired to work primarily within a specific degree program, but may also work in other degree programs given the needs of The College and with the approval of the ADGP Dean. ADGP faculty report to the ADGP Dean.
The primary responsibilities of all ADGP Faculty are threefold: 1. to teach and advise students, support student learning, and oversee their programs of study; 2. to serve the College and community (e.g., through committee work, new program development, academic decision-making and governance, and other curricular activities for the degree program as a whole); and 3. to engage in mission-appropriate scholarship and professional development that develop our programs and our learning environments for students (e.g., community-based research, action-research, scholarship of teaching and learning, etc.).
Qualified faculty may be assigned academic administrative responsibilities as Chair of one of the interdisciplinary graduate degree programs for a three year term by the ADGP Dean (renewable). Chairs report to the ADGP Dean. In addition to the regular faculty work responsibilities, responsibilities of Chairs include:
- Supervising the curricular offerings and academic development an interdisciplinary graduate degree program;
- Teaching within and coordinating staffing of the hybrid in-person / online core curricula and other course offerings for that program;
- Leading the relevant steering committee to assure faculty governance of the specific program curriculum, of existing limited residency programs, and of new limited- or high-residency programs in Prescott, Arizona or other bioregional hubs;
- Assuring specific program level learning outcomes are set in alignment with college-wide and MA outcomes; participating in assessing of student learning for program improvement;
- Coordinating communications and work between the affiliate faculty, steering committee, and/or associate faculty group(s) relevant to the specific program;
- Coordinating staffing of colloquia events by program faculty and/or graduate advisors;
- Training and supporting development of AF as colleagues in the program;
- Coordinating CF FTTE load, teaching, and other work assignments for associate faculty and other instructional staff with the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs; recommending load range increases or other personnel changes to the ADGP Dean;
- Working together with other members of the Graduate Program Council, the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, and the ADGP Dean for new program development, curricular governance, program integrity, and quality assurance and improvement of the M.A. and Ph.D. programs generally;
- Other duties in support of the College mission and ADGP strategic goals as assigned.

Requirements:
- M.A. in appropriate field required; Ph.D. strongly preferred

- Commitment to social justice and environmental sustainability
- Compassion and sensitivity working with diverse non-traditional learners
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate with faculty and staff across disciplines
- Willingness to participate in occasional weekend or evening work
- Sense of humor
- Administrative experience or capacity preferred
