TUCSON ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY
CONTINUES SUPPORT OF PRESCOTT COLLEGE
Tucson Electric Power Company is continuing their support of Prescott
College with a $1000 gift designated for teacher education scholarships
for Tucson students.
"The Prescott College Tucson Center is delighted by the continued
support of Tucson Electric Power and the company's support of teacher
education programs in the Tucson area," said Bill Walton, director
of the Tucson Center. "Prescott College's commitment to excellence
in teacher education continues to play a very strong role in the Tucson
area, and this money will be used to support a deserving student in
our program."
In a letter accompanying the gift, Sharon Foltz, director of community
relations for TEP said, "Prescott College staff and volunteers
are to be commended for their outstanding advocacy and work in promoting
educational opportunities for a diverse community; thank you for including
TEP in this partnership."
