1. Make sure we have your updated info!
We can’t stay in touch with you unless we have your
current info – mailing address, e-mail and phone number.
You can update your
info online or by calling the Parent and Alumni Relations
Office at 877.350.2100 ext 4502.
2. Donate to Prescott
College!
Continue the tradition of support from alumni and parents
with a charitable contribution to the College. Each year,
your support of the Annual Fund will help educate future generations
of students. Every gift helps – from $5 to $5,000 –
and every gift is tax deductible. Alumni who donate each year
also activate their PCAA membership privileges. The
easiest way to support PC is through our secure online
giving site.
3. Join the Parent Assocation
Did you know that PC has launched a Parents Association? Parents can get involved through
assisting other parents with information about the PC community and college life by acting as a local resource for current and prospective students and their families, assist with the development and maintenance of a “parent track” during new student orientation, or
support
the PC Parents Supporting Field Studies Scholarship through the sale of Prescott College clothing.
4. Go online!
For alumni, the Alumni Website
has info such as online update page for your most current
info, upcoming events, links to transcript pages, class notes
updating you on your classmates, news, featured alumni and
more.
5. Attend
an event!
Prescott College hosts
events all over the country. This past year, we’ve
brought alumni, parents, and PC friends together in California,
New Mexico, Massachusetts, and locally. Look for upcoming
events in your area online and keep an eye out for invitations
in the mail!
6.
Host a send-off picnic!
Throw a send-off party for incoming students in your area! If you would like to host a picnic
in your area, please contact the Parent and Alumni Relations Office.
7. Attend Parent's Weekend!
Parent's Weekend is usually the 3rd or 4th weekend in
October and is an opportunity to see what your students are doing through faculty presentations,
spend time with College administration and staff, meet other PC parents, and spend valuable time with your student.
8. Be a Phonathon volunteer!
Every spring we hold an Annual
Fund Phonathon to raise money for Prescott College. On
campus, students call our alumni, parents and friends to ask
for their support. As a parent, you can help too,
no matter where you are! We value our volunteers who rally support for the
College…not to mention those who donate during the Phonathon.
9. Did we mention donations?
In addition to the Annual Fund, you can make
your tax-deductible donation to the Crossroads Center,
the PC Endowment or even to your favorite program area at
PC, like Arts and Letter or Environmental Studies.
10.
Spread the word…
Perhaps one of the best ways that you can stay involved
is by spreading the word about Prescott College. This
is one of the biggest
ways
that students hear about the College and PC folks make
connections out there in the world.
Keep talking about PC!
