Wilderness Emergency Care

Course ID
This course combines scientific information with practical skills and common sense. The curriculum is designed to make the student proficient in administering care to the sick and injured. An emphasis is placed on the wilderness context of prolonged transport, severe environments, and improvised equipment. Successful completion results in two certifications: CPR and Wilderness First Responder through the Wilderness Medicine Institute of the National Outdoor Leadership School.
