Arizona Serve Teams With Local Caregiving Organization

People Who Care

In times of stress, new collaborations can be the beginning of beautiful relationships. In the case of Arizona Serve, a program of Prescott College and Americorps, this means the start of a partnership with People Who Care, a nonprofit volunteer caregiving organization. In light of changes occurring in response to COVID-19, this partnership seeks to pair volunteers from both organizations with the increased requests made from the community. There are a number of things that volunteers can be a part of, from answering calls at the Yavapai Emergency Community Phone Bank to helping at-risk community members get their weekly groceries.

Even with daily life on pause, there are still many ways to actively engage with the community, especially now! People Who Care and Arizona Serve are both looking for volunteers in many departments as well as full of resources for food distribution, child care, and health care. No matter the situation we want you to remember that we are here. In this time of change, we are ready to come together as a community and serve the most vulnerable sectors of our population and you too can get involved.
