Community-based Orientation Students Explore Sustainability on Campus and Beyond

New community-based orientation students spent Block 1 learning about (and engaging in!) place-based sustainability education. From our campus agroecology practices to the local Prescott Farmers Market to the majestic urban laboratory Arcosanti in Mayer, AZ, the students have been exploring different dimensions of sustainability and how it integrates with their lives — even as students! Although Prescott may be a temporary home for many of these students, it is crucial to be immersed in our local environment and meet local organizations to be an informed and engaged Prescott College student. Plus, new students meet our community partners who can help support their academic journey and beyond!
