GI Bill® Information

Prescott College is proud to support our veterans by accepting the GI Bill® for tuition costs. Most of our programs are approved for veterans’ education benefits.
While using a GI Bill®, course fees are not automatically billed to the VA. Plus, the VA only covers fees directly associated with tuition and attendance at the college, such as the technology, sustainability, and activity fees. This means that you might have to pay for some fees.

VA auditors have access to, and often review, all veterans’ files. If they see you’ve retaken a course inappropriately, you will owe the VA for the course. If the VA School Certifying Official catches it, they also have to report it to the VA.
Other classes may be repeated, such as those “failed,” or if a program requires a higher grade than the one achieved in a class.
If you withdraw from a class, Prescott College will also have to report it to the VA. The VA will then require you to repay the tuition for the portion of the course you did not finish.
