Our Admissions Process: Finding the Right Fit
At the core of our admissions process is who you are and how we fit together.
Our Students. You are empathetic and adventurous, creative and rebellious, self-driven and forward-thinking. You are passionate about sustainability, social justice, and the humanities. You are leaders and lifelong learners.
Our Faculty and Staff. We are expert and nurturing, invested in your success, and support you whether you’re undergraduate or graduate, on campus or online.
Our Programs are hands-on, interdisciplinary, and non-traditional, rooted in real-world learning.
Together we are changemakers.
Affordable Options at a Glance
Nearly 70% of our students receive institutional scholarships in addition to Federal aid.
To qualify for any federal, state, and institutional aid, students must first fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The data from the FAFSA determines the expected family contribution (EFC). The EFC is then subtracted from the cost of attendance for the academic year. The resulting figure is your Demonstrated Financial Need.
The Changemaker Scholarship
The Changemaker Scholarship is a tuition scholarship for accepted on-campus students that enroll in a degree program. Eligibility and award levels are determined during the admissions process. The scholarship award is up to $17,000 for first-time on-campus undergraduate students and $15,000 for transfer students. Early application is encouraged.
Prescott College participates in the Title IV Federal Student Aid Program, including Pell Grant, Federal Student Loans, Federal Work Study, TEACH Grants and more. File your FAFSA to see if you are eligible. Prescott College’s FAFSA Code is: 013659.
Student Employment assists in financing educational expenses and provides a valuable service to Prescott College and local community projects. Positions continually become available in college departments, special events, orientations, campus tours, and admissions work, as well as supporting faculty and academic programs.
