Seed Mania 2025

The 5th Annual Seed Mania on Sunday, March 23, 1:00-6:00pm @ Crossroads Center is a FREE event organized by students, staff & faculty of the Green Mountain Center for Sustainability in partnership with Slow Food Prescott. Music, seed giveaways & a seed swap, information tables and kids activities will be available in the main areas until 4:00pm, and upstairs, choose from up to multiple 45-min informational workshops (for beginners to advanced) held @ 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30pm. A free “seed-themed” meal will be served starting at 4:30pm followed with speakers and a keynote talk about our Prescott Farmers Market by Prescott urban farmer, Earl Duque. The theme this year is “Plant Seeds. Grow Community” and this collaborative event is intended to celebrate seed biodiversity, to co-create and share knowledge and materials, as well as to provide support and celebrate local food growing at every scale by all in our Prescott area.
