I think this is a place that supports people from all walks of life….we all fit right in becuase there’s no cookie-cutter way to be a good student here. Experiential Education

Most learning for every program at Prescott College is hands-on and in the field. Students immerse themselves in the wilderness, the Prescott community, and the campus community.

My favorite part of this process has been the application of new subject material to my ecosystem, which has afforded me an opportunity to learn much more about the fascinating place where I live: the mountainous borderlands of southeastern Arizona. It has been incredible working with and learning from the amazing and passionate instructors

I am beyond proud to be a student at Prescott College. I love the opportunity to choose classes that are experiential and immersed in the field. I chose my degree because I wanted to combine my love for recreating in the outdoors and sharing knowledge about the natural world. The professors at Prescott College have made me feel heard and seen, they are passionate people that share their love for the natural world with each student. Prescott College helped respark my love for learning and has taught me all the skills I need to be a lifelong learner.

A number of our programs relate to environmental stewardship, outdoor education, and nature conservation. Our students choose Prescott College because of their passion for the outdoors and knack for adventure.
