Identifying issues with training aids in Cadaver dog training
Heather R Wisner is from Ashland Wisconsin, She is a graduate of Northland College, Prescott College and is now a PhD Student at Prescott College. Her masters was completed through Prescott College identifying problems in search dog training. This research led Heather to work with two state representatives in the State of WI to create the first law for Cadaver Dogs in the state. She has traveled North America speaking on this topic and continues to be an advocate for Search, Rescue and Recovery, K9 Training and is working to add additional state laws. She also is helping k9 handlers in other states. Her search dogs keep her busy as she continues to research K9 training, train in search and rescue and support K9 handlers in North America.
