I have been teaching and working at Prescott College for over a decade in many different roles. I am currently the faculty program director of Adventure Education and the program director of the On-Campus Undergraduate Orientation Program, faculty in the Adventure Education program, and director of field risk management. I love working with students in field and classroom settings, especially on the river and in the mountains, and thinking critically about leadership and what we call wilderness and the outdoors. I teach classes that are at the intersections of social justice studies and adventure education. What else to know about me? I live on the ancestral land and unceded and tribal territory of the Yavapai-Apache Peoples in Prescott with my partner and our two little kids. I spend a lot of time in the forests running and mountain biking with our dog Rhea.
