I have been an educator for 20 years. I am originally from Rhode Island. I have an undergraduate degree in Natural Resource Science. I taught environmental education with the Rhode Island Audubon Society and the National Wildlife Federation. I received my Masters of Teaching-Certification from Rhode Island College. I had the opportunity to move to the Navajo Indian Reservation in AZ and teach elementary school. I also worked in Colorado and New Mexico, teaching elementary school. I live in Prescott and have been working with PC for 15 years. I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, and mountain biking.
I enjoy working with students seeking teaching certification. I am committed to preparing future teachers who are reflective, creative and adaptable. I believe in the value of hands-on lessons. I encourage students to create safe, inclusive classrooms. As a faculty member, I hope to contribute to the continued development of a dynamic, inclusive, and forward-thinking educational environment.
