Save the Date: Prescott College to Celebrate 60th Anniversary October 14-17, 2026
Save the Date: Prescott College is turning 60! This milestone celebration will reflect on six decades of transformative education, environmental stewardship, and social leadership—while looking ahead to the next 60 years of impact. We can’t wait to celebrate this historic moment with you, October 14-17, 2026!
We welcome alumni, friends, and family back to campus for a once-in-a-lifetime experience honoring the past, present, and future of Prescott College.
Here’s a preview of what’s taking shape for the schedule:
October 15, 10:30 am – 12 pm: Workshop with Delisa Myles for “Dance Skills for Humankind” in the Manzanita Old Chapel. During this workshop, you will be gently guided inward to the birthplace of your own dance by listening to your body and joining a group improvisation as a portal into a deeper embodied relationship with self and others. Make sure to wear comfy clothing!
October 16, 10:30 am – 12 pm: Join us for a session on campus in the Wren Building with Sustainability Food Systems professor Eleanor Tison, current undergraduates, and the rest of the Sustainability Crew for an interactive and experiential activity, “From Campus Garden to Plate: Preserving & Sampling our Harvest.” After harvesting from our on-campus collection of in-season herbs, flowers, and veggies, you’ll step into our Wren Building Learning Kitchen and transform your freshly picked produce into tasty preserved foods to sample and take with you while engaging with other activities and learning more about the magic happening at our Green Mountain Center for Sustainability!
October 16, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm: Join David Lovejoy (‘73 and Emeritus Faculty), Erin Lotz (‘20 and Adventure Education Faculty), and Kevin Keith (‘93 and Prescott Climber’s Coalition board member) for the “Sullivan’s Canyon Climbing Trip” and rappel, climb, explore the riparian area, and discuss the history of Upper Sullivan’s Canyon This activity requires a registration fee, which covers gear rental and a sack lunch. Space is limited! Find more information and register at the link below in the schedule section.
