Mike is a faculty member for the Adventure Education on campus undergraduate program and he also teaches for the Outdoor Education Leadership Master’s program. Mike teaches a mix of field-based and classroom courses focusing on climbing skills development, teaching and learning, research methods, and the history and philosophy of adventure education. Mike’s research explores the teaching and learning that occurs in outdoor classrooms and the ways outdoor education programming fosters participant development.
