Audrey Milburn, MA, PsyD, LMFT

Dr. Audrey Milburn, full-time Associate Faculty in the MS in Counseling Program at Prescott College, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified Prepare & Enrich facilitator, and Gottman Couples Therapist. She loves teaching counseling and has been instructing in Masters and Doctoral level counseling programs since 2015. Dr. Milburn has taught over 60 graduate and doctoral counseling education and Marriage & Family Therapy courses and has served over 1,000 clients and their families. She is also a Core Faculty Advisor in the Counseling Department at Prescott College.

Dr. Milburn’s unique experiences of having grown up overseas give her a fresh perspective on diverse individual and relationship issues. She enjoys working with couples, adolescents, missionaries, individuals in ministry, young adults, premarital couples, and parents. She is certified in Prepare and Enrich and The Couple Checkup, comprehensive assessment tools used in premarital, relationship, and marriage therapy, and also is certified in Levels 1 and 2 of Gottman Couples Therapy. Audrey is bilingual in English and Kinyarwanda. She spent 21 years overseas (particularly in East Africa) and recognizes cross-cultural issues. Her areas of experience and research are depression, anxiety, acculturation issues, burnout, grief and loss, traumatic brain injury, fertility issues, relationship problems, emotional dysregulation, and adjustment difficulties.
