Dr. Myshalae Jamerson-Euring, PhD is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Qualified Supervisor. Born and raised in North Carolina, Dr. Jamerson-Euring obtained her M.S degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Winston-Salem State University and Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling and Counselor Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Dr. Jamerson-Euring is passionate about improving the lived experiences of marginalized groups. Her research interests include disability awareness and advocacy, multicultural counseling pedagogy, women’s empowerment, social justice, and Black maternal health, and racial disparities in health care.

Dr. Jamerson-Euring loves helping people overcome challenges and limitations. She specializes in individual, generational, caregiver, workplace, racial/ethnic trauma, gender challenges, physical, mental, and emotional disabilities, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, life transitions, PTSD, and personality disorders. She utilizes a variety of humanistic and person-centered interventions including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Restructuring, Crisis Counseling, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Integrative/Holistic Therapy. She’s an avid sci-fi and fantasy fan, loves documentaries, collecting comic books, adding to her unicorn collection, theater, dance, and all things Disney.
